Case Summary

Charaz Tukhtarovich Akimov, born December 27, 1993, is a citizen of Ukraine and Russia, a resident of Yalta in occupied Crimea, and a Crimean Tatar. On November 26, 2024, he was sentenced under Part 1 of Article 264 of the Russian Criminal Code (" Repeated driving while intoxicated "); punishment unknown. On April 3, 2025, he was sentenced under Article 275.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (" Confidential cooperation with a foreign state," carrying a maximum sentence of eight years' imprisonment ) to five years' imprisonment in a general regime penal colony.
